The course starts with a 750m swim at the sheltered Dock Beach in Kinsale, followed by an undulating 23km bike ride to the Speckled Door and across the beaches of Garylucas and Garretstown, before heading back inland to the village of Ballinaspittle and the famous moving statue, before arriving back to the Dock beach. The event finishes with the iconic 5km ‘run’ out and back over the eponymous Castlepark hill which is breath-taking in more ways than one!
