Wednesday Speed Session 15th May

Week 6, final push up of the time at speed to 4800m, we won’t take the session “at speed” distance higher than this, 12 x 400m with 200m easy recovery jog. We will stay on the back rugby pitch in the Regional Park in Ballincollig. Session starts at 7:00pm sharp so try to get there a little earlier.

The best place to park is the small carpark near the start of the Ballincollig Park Run Start. If this is full there is more parking in the church carpark just outside the gates of the park. For all of the sessions it is important for individual athletes to judge their own status re race preparation and race recovery. It is perfectly OK to shorten the session if you are recovering from a race the previous weekend or preparing for a race on the following weekend.
