This week’s session is a progression on last week. The run will be 4 x 1000m with 800m active recovery. For anyone who missed last week but is going along this week you can start with 3 x 1000m also anyone who does not want to step up to 4 x they can stay at 3 x 1000m and progress next week.
The 1000s should be run at your CURRENT 5km estimated pace (not the pace you aspire to run if fully fit). For the 800m recovery the pace should be dropped to about 50% effort but keep moving.
