Bronze Club Standards Award

CTC are delighted to announce that we have been awarded  Bronze status under Triathlon Irelands Evolve club standards program. The Evolve program aims to identify, develop, accredit and recognize high quality triathlon clubs and the contribution that they make to the development of sport in Ireland. CTC is just one of a handful of clubs around the country to have been awarded this status. 

Cork Tri has been working towards these standards for many years and made an application  as part of the club goals for 2022. This award is a major recognition of the structures, roles and training that many committee members and coaches have developed and put in place since we started 23 years ago. These include  management and governance standards, club coaching, training and race activities, safeguarding of our junior members and making the club a welcoming, safe and rewarding community for our members. There are still many other areas where we can develop and improve upon and we will strive to achieve Silver and Gold status over the coming years. But for now congratulations to all those who have contributed towards getting CTC to Bronze standard.  You can find out more about the Evolve program here
