CTC are planning an accompanied swim around Sandycove Island, for members who have not lapped the island yet. This will be weather dependant, on the 19th Sept @ 5pm
Swimmers would need to be able to comfortably swim 2km in a pool, and have some open water experience, swimming inside the island, or at the dock beach aquathon, for example.
We will have kayak support and a 2:1 ratio of new swimmers to experienced swimmers, so need volunteers to help out also.
Please bring a tow bouy, or let us know, if you can’t get one, so we can have spares.
