Although the breakdown of funding has yet to be announced our application covered four areas. We applied for a secure storage container, the creation of lending program to allow members access to bikes, turbo trainers, high end wheels and bike boxes, the upgrading of race equipment including gazebos, flags, signage and a new PA system and the purchase of new water safety equipment including a standup paddleboard and tow floats.
Many thanks to Brendan o Neill, Catherine Redmond, Paul Kelly and Tara Reale for their help in getting this application over the line. There is still a lot more work involved in drawing down the funds and we will be asking for volunteers to help with this. This is a real good news day for the club! Congratulations!
