Everyone’s favourite session repeat 800s. For this round we will be at 5 x 800m. There was some very even pacing across the groups last week it would be great to continue this for the 800s. We mentioned to one or two people that they should move up to a faster group for this week. Everyone should have a record of their 400m times, you should expect to be about 2-3s slower per 400m over the 800s. So if you were running your 400s in 75s you should expect to be running 2:34-35 for the 800s, if doing 1:30 400s you should be doing about 3:04-5 800s
Usual arrangements for meet up, try to get there at about 6:55pm meet at the fence outside the track while we wait for St Finbarr’s to finish up. We will have the usual warm-up in groups A, AA and NtT. The A and AA groups will split into 4 pace groups as per normal. We need to have cleared the track just before 8:00pm, leave by the gate in the middle of the first bend.
