Time Trials return this Tuesday starting at 7pm. With road works planned all summer along the usual course we have taken the decision to move to the De Ronde Time Trial course along the Old Dublin road starting at Killalough Cross. It is an out and back course with turnaround at the Watergrasshill roundabout. You can view the course here. Prior to attending please review the new course briefing here. Riders will set off every minute with faster riders towards the end so please seed yourself accordingly when registering. Places are limited to 20 for now but we will review this after the first night.
Registration is available here and is open until 12pm each Tuesday. Start times will be published via the CTC Broadcast channel each Tuesday afternoon.
It is really important that you only register if you are certain you can attend. No swop are permitted after 12pm. Those who register and don’t attend or want to swop after 12pm disrupt the entire registration process and end up delaying the Time Trial.
We need two timekeepers each week and ask participants to volunteer at least once over the summer. Our Time Trial Coordinators are John o Connell, Sian Lucking and Jane McGrath. If you prefer that your time is not published please inform the time keeper on the night.
