Hey guys, Just a quick message to say thank you to all who tuned in for our club AGM tonight, it was great so many could attend, so unfortunate it wasn’t in person, but the couches looked very comfortable, d’ya think Ivan was really on the Turbo?! Anyways, thank you for making the time to participate!
2020 didn’t turn out like anyone planned, but in terms of our club, we adapted, coping amazingly well with massive uncertainty. While we didn’t get to run our club races, we achieved a lot on the training front, keeping members engaged, folks connected, adding new sessions, trying different things – like baking! And then as soon as we could, following guidelines to get training sessions back going, learning and adapting as we went.
Sincere thank you to the committee for their efforts, input and guidance throughout the year, just making things happen behind the scenes.
A special thank you to the outgoing committee: Laura AT, Brendan O’Neill (moving role), Peter Blissett, Majella Harty, Tomas Kenefick, John O’Driscoll, Catherine Redmond. Thank you for your commitment, contribution and energy to the club.
