Committee Roles: As in previous years, we will not look for committee nominations on the night. Instead, we ask interested parties to advise their interest in advance. A full list of the committee position with description is included in the here. Existing committee members may choose to continue in their role for another year and will need to be formally nominated at AGM. Another club member can also apply for the same position. We are still reviewing the full list of open roles for 2021 and will share shortly, so far, there is an opening for Chairperson, Secretary, Events Admin/Club email, TT coordinators, Public relations officer for King of the Hill, Race team for Lost Sheep. So, if you are interested in taking up one of the positions please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. The club is a completely volunteer run club with no paid positions. If you have not been involved in any committee role please consider taking on something! Everyone involved is also an active athlete. The main committee meets once per month. Should you be interested in taking on a committee role in future years, please feel free to reach out to the committee to express your interest, we’d very much welcome early interest to help with future committees going forward, so it’s never too early to get involved.
Motions: Any proposed change to the Constitution by a member must be received by the Chairperson or Secretary at least days prior to the date of the AGM in order that members shall have sufficient notice of the proposal. At the discretion of the Chairperson, amendments not submitted at least days prior to the AGM, may be proposed by any member present at the AGM and voted upon.
