Just a quick reminder that this week’s Sunday Cycle is our annual cycle in aid of Simon, Cork. The Simon Community do such great work with Soup Runs, Outreach, providing Emergency Shelter, run a Day Centre, provide a medical service for the homeless and much more. Unfortunately at present their services are needed more than ever. The format for the cycle will be a normal cycle ending up at the coffee shop in the Ballyseedy Garden Centre at the Commercial Units at Carrigtwohil at about 11:30. The club will provide the coffee and scones but we will pass the Santa Hat around for contributions to Simon, the club adds to the total we will get a cheque to Simon before Christmas.
We will meet at the usual time of 9:00am at City Hall, we will divide into groups of equal ability and aim to get to Ballyseedy for 11:30. Even if you haven’t been cycling much come along a shorter route could be arranged. The middle group will do a route that is about 62km to Ballyseedy with another 14 back to the city. If you don’t want to cycle why not just come out to Ballyseedy for the coffee. Feel free to wear Santa hats, suits, decorate and light up your bike appropriately. Looking forward to seeing as many club members as possible. Routes will be posted later.
