Thirteen people turned up but unfortunately weather conditions meant that it was too dangerous to have the event. A total of €500 was raised for Simon – thank you all for your contributions and to Mary Cotter who gave a gift voucher for a massage as a spot prize – this was raffled off and Louise Keane was the lucky winner. If there is sufficient interest in a similar event in the future, we might do something similar at one of the club time trials starting in May.
