CTC are planning to start coached swim sessions in the 25m pool at Leisureworld, Bishopstown between October and December. The sessions will be coached by Brian Clifford, who took the Churchfield sessions in the Spring. The time available to us is 9-10.00pm on Tuesday evenings. There is also the possibility of having a morning session on Wednesdays from 7-8 (or 9.00am) with just 2 lanes. For those in some long distance work we are investigating the possibility of getting a lane or two in the 50m pool in Limerick twice between now and Christmas, these (50m pool) would be only for experienced swimmers capable of covering 4-6000m in the session. To make these bookings we need to gauge interest from the members, so anyone interested please email admin@corktri.com with “Swim Sessions” in the Subject Line and indicate which of the sessions you are interested in. We can take about 40 people for Tuesday evenings and 10-12 for Wednesday mornings. Members can sign up for multiple sessions.
