CTC took three gold medals at the European Championships in Athlone last weekend.
Great performances by:
– Amy Wolfe who won the (25-29) age group category in a time of 2:08:11 and was 2nd overall Olympic distance.
– Lizzie Lee who won the (30-34) age group category in a time of 1:10:59 and was 3rd overall Sprint distance.
– Mark Nolan who won the (30-34) age group category in a time of 1:02:04 and was 2nd overall Sprint distance.

– Joyce Wolfe finished 7th woman overall in Ironman Austria in a time of 9:46:43.
– Amy Wolfe on winning Hell of the West in Kilkee, holding off last year’s winner, Elena Maslova, and setting a new course record (by almost 3 mins) with a time of 2.20.26. Also on winning Tri-Athy and Valentia, both times being chased by Elena.
– Karina Teahan on winning Sive Triathlon in Cahersiveen, her first Triathlon win in a time of 1:18:55.
