Weekly Club Training Schedule

Here’s a quick overview of the planned activities for the upcoming year, details will be added or new events added as arranged. Any suggestions or questions about events, contact the committee. Outdoor Run & Bike sessions are free of charge, just show up, ready to go with appropriate gear.

The following tables show typical training across the race season and winter season, some sessions are club arranged, others are direct through coach as noted. Check in advance exactly what sessions are running by keeping an eye on our training calendar or our facebook site.

The Summer TT runs from May until August.

Brookfield sessions are booked directly with Gary Mason These sessions continue throughout the year, with a break in September

The Summer Wednesday run at Sonia O’Sullivan track behind the Mardyke arena at 7pm from April until October.

The Aquathon series is every second Thursday from June to August.

The Spin & pool swim sessions run from October until May.

Unofficial Club Training

There are a number of unofficial training groups within the club who hold sessions on a regular basis.  People are welcome to enquire about and join in, where appropriate, with these sessions.  The club will take no responsibility for any of these sessions.

Mardyke swim group – Mon, Wed and Friday morning @ 7.00am in the Mardyke Arena.  2 fast lanes, one slower lane that will be implementing sessions from the club training programme.  No coach, self regulated

Open Water swims – There is an enthusiastic bunch of open water swimmers within the club who organise unofficial regular swims often followed by tea and biscuits.  Details on whatsapp can be found here.
