The “Lost Sheep” Middle Distance Triathlon will again be a National Series Race for 2012
The race will take place on Saturday September 8th
Start Time is 9.30am(to be confirmed)
This year’s Race is the qualification race for the World Long Distance Championships Belfort, France 2013

The Lost Sheep Triathlon has since its inception in 2003 gained a reputation both nationally and internationally as one of the toughest middle distance races on the triathlon circuit. Traditionally staged in September each year the event starts with a 1900m swim in the scenic Kenmare Bay followed by an 83km cycle which takes competitors over two category one climbs on the Healy and Caha passes and finishes after an undulating 21km run mostly on quiet country roads close to the picturesque town of Kenmare.
