Wednesday Speed Session 5th June

Back again to 400s again this week, Athletes should be keeping a record of their own progress as we go through the season. Look for improvements in times but also take into account different weather conditions for the various runs. I keep mentioning this but it is important, each athlete has to balance recovery from races the previous weekend or preparation for a race the coming weekend. Every one has to balance the intensity and duration of the session against these occurrences.

Usual meeting arrangements, the session starts at 7:00pm in the back rugby pitch in the Ballincollig Regional Park. The best place to enter the park is at the entrance to the allotments, this is near the “new” church in Ballincollig. This is also the location of the start of the Ballincollig Park Run. The session is suitable for all levels as we divide into three groups of roughly equal ability.

Try to get there a little early as we try to start the promptly at 7:00pm
