This week’s session is building on last week. We will go with 4 x 1000m efforts with 800m active recovery. The object is to be really consistent and strong with all of the efforts. This is leading up to the final week and nailing the 5 x 1000m.
The 1000s should be at your CURRENT 5km estimated pace (not what you would like to run 5k in if you were fully fit). For the 800m active recovery you should notch down to 50% effort and keep moving.
Usual meeting time of 7:00pm at the main entrance, get there on time as with fading light it important to start at 7.
