Apologies, a bit late with the post this week. Hopefully people are still getting out in spite of the damp weather, remember it is horrible inside looking out at the rain but you always feel great when you finish the run. Simple enough session again this week, repeat 3 minutes at tempo.
Easy 10-15 minute warm up
5-6 60m strides
6 x 3 minutes at tempo with 90s recovery jog
10-15 minutes easy cool down
All hoping that we will be able to get some small group runs when the current Level 5 restrictions change at the end of the month, until then keep adherence to the protocols. Looks like there could be a few more locations suitable for the tempo sessions, Kieran kennedy posted information on a new loop out in the Glanmire/Glounthane area and I believe the walkway from Blarney out towards Waterloo has been tarmaced as well.
