Official end of the tri season is September so we are going to take a little break from both the Monday and Wednesday run sessions. We plan on starting back some time mid to late October, assuming COVID 19 restrictions allow us to do so at that time. No need for you to stop though, try to maintain some level of run fitness by getting out a few times a week. This period is a good opportunity to drop the intensity and increase the variety. Get off the road and try some new locations, Ballincollig Regional Park, Tramore Valley Park, Rochestown woods or venture as far as Farran woods, as the ad used to say; “take the time to explore”.
If you are running with friends keep the numbers low and try to run with the same (small) group of friends. Keep social distance particularly before and after the session.
