Run Alone Wednesday 22nd April

Apologies all, a bit late with the post this week. No announcement from TI just yet but after yesterday’s government announcement about no mass gatherings I would be very surprised if there will be any racing in July. The implication for training is that you should keep the intensity on the low side for a while. Remember if racing in July is cancelled you still have three months before you will be toeing the line. So for the Tempo session I am again suggesting the 5 x 5 minutes at tempo. For anyone doing the hill repeats this is week 3. I know I keep banging on about this but the club is asking members to observe the Covid 19 guidelines in terms of staying within 2km of home. Also be very aware of other road/footpath/park users, give people a wide berth, avoid spitting and snotting. Stay safe, stay healthy, step away from the cake.
