What better way to recover from a Bank holiday weekend than a Time Trial?! For folks interested, Noel O’Regan will be guiding a Transition skills session directly after, at 7:30pm. Anyone wishing to partake in that, please arrive to the TT early and ensure you are towards the front of the line.
TT starts promptly at 7pm. Folks doing transition session & slower riders should start towards the front. Riders are let off one at a time, with a gap of 30seconds between each. Times are recorded for each person. Please ensure to shout your name on return past the timekeepers so they know who you are.
The Time Trial is a (8.6 mile/13.8 km out and back course on a relatively flat route. It is suitable everyone, its just you against the clock! The turnaround is the roundabout.
Read more about the route, fastest times etc here
NOTE! There’s still roadwork cones out on the route at the bridge junction, so need to be careful there. As always, it’s an open road and rules of the road apply.
Timekeepers needed – please let Ciaran or John know if you are available. Everyone partaking in the TTs must do their bit to help on the timekeeping side, no exceptions!
The time trials are open to current members of CTC and Triathlon Ireland & members of Cycling Ireland. Hard Shell helmets must be worn. Drafting will disqualify.
