Track Session Wednesday 15th May

One of the tougher sessions on the schedule 3 x 1600m (3 x 1 mile in old money).  For me this one of the key sessions particularly for anyone intending going up to 1/2 iron distance, but it is still a great session standard distance.   It is as usual important to get the pacing right and this is a bit more difficult over the longer distance.  Get the pacing even over the 4 laps of each 1600m and also over the three 1600s.   Normal meeting time of 7:00pm at the Sonia O’Sullivan track in the UCC grounds on the Mardyke.  A reminder that there is very limited parking inside the Mardyke.
