Session this week is back to 400m repeats. People should be making a note of their times over the different distances every week, as we go through the season you should be looking for slight improvements as the distances are repeated. We did 8 x 400m in the first week on the track this week we will do 10 x 400m. It is also very important to try to keep the times across the session, you shouldn’t run your fastest for the first one and keep getting slower as you tire. Neither should you run too easy early in the session and then take off like a scalded cat on the last one! Session starts at 7:00pm on the Sonia O’Sullivan Track in the UCC grounds on the Mardyke.
