Great group out last week for the first track session in spite of the chilly weather. Just for information there are a couple of people not doing the track sessions and for most of April will be doing a hill session across the river on Rose Hill Upper. Meet at the track do the warm up and jog across. For the track session we will move up in distance to 800m with a 400m recovery. For anyone not that experienced in timing you should be about 3s per lap slower than your 400m time from last week. If you did your 400s in about 90s you should be hitting about 3:06 or so for the 800s.

- Dynamic Stretch
- 5 x strides
- 4 x 800m with 400m recovery jog
- Cool down
The session is on the Sonia O’Sullivan Track in the UCC Sports Grounds on the Mardyke. Track session begins at 7:00pm. Remember there is limited parking in the grounds and you really have to be a Mardyke Arena member to get past the gate security. There is some street parking and also space in the car parks on the Straight Road. This week there is a fitting session for club gear in the Mardyke Arena at 6:00pm and a Q&A session on the club training programmes back in the Arena after the track session. Pretty full evening!!
