First Track Session of the Season; Wednesday 3rd April

So the autumn/winter season of tempo runs in the business park is over and we move to the track from April to August. First session with be fairly simple and straight forward with just repeat 400s. It will give people a chance to get their hard effort pace in a new environment. Also rather than the free run in the tempo sessions on the road I would like to get people into about 3 groups of roughly equal effort. Effort in the track sessions should be more towards hard than tempo, but the effort should be even across the session. The venue is on the Sonia O’Sullivan track in the UCC Sports Grounds on the Mardyke. Remember the time moves to 7:00pm, there is very limited parking in the grounds if you are not a member of the Mardyke Arena. There is some street parking around and the carpark at the city end of the Straight Road is only 4 minutes jog away.
