Looks like our recent of brilliant weather will be coming to an end but hopefully we will get through this week’s track session first. I know I say it every week that each individual has to make the call for the track session to balance recovery from the previous weekend and preparation for the coming weekend. This week the session is back up to 3 x 1600m (3 x 1 mile). My opinion is that for anyone going long (70.3 or IM) this is a key session. So even if you are racing this coming weekend but your “A” race for the season is a half or full consider doing this full session. Meet at the usual time of 7:00pm at the Sonia O’Sullivan track in the UCC Sports Grounds on the Mardyke.
