Race Marshals Required

Your Club Needs You

As usual our club will run two races this year – King of the Hill (Jul 22nd) and The Lost Sheep (Sep 16th).

It is important that we secure an adequate numbers of marshals across all the races to ensure that we maintain our high standards. Registration has been open since early May, and there is currently a very low number of volunteers.

It is requested that club members should marshal at least one club race. Every year one of our main challenges of putting on these races is recruiting sufficient numbers of marshals. If we do not secure an adequate number in advance of the race we will have no option but to cancel the event. We are asking people to register for races as soon as possible in order to assist with planning. As usual there will be goodies provided for all who register. Invite your family and friends!

Remember, no race can take place without volunteers. They are every bit as important as the competitors and, on the day, few contribute more to the atmosphere of the race.
