Track Session Wednesday 17th May

Back up to repeat kilometers again this week, great session to get a feel for potential race pace.  The numbers this season have been great and the group running has been very encouraging with lots of people running very consistently across the session.  As usual at this time of year individuals have to make the call as to their preparation, if they are racing the following weekend or recovery, if they are coming off a race last weekend.  People need to ensure that they have an adequate warm up prior to the stretch and stride.  Meet at 7:00pm at the track in the UCC grounds on the Mardyke

Easy 10 minute warm up jog

Dynamic Stretch

6 x Strides

Main Set

400m with 200m recovery jog.

4 x 1000m with 600m recovery

Easy cool down
