After all the excitement and races of the weekend it is back to the hard grind. This week it is 800s again with the option of either 5 or 6 reps. As usual it is up to individual athletes to make the assessment as to where they are with either recovery or race preparation. Anyone who did the half in Galway on Sunday should be taking it a bit easy, those who did either sprint or olympic on Saturday should be fine to do a full session. Usual format for evening, warm-up, dynamic stretch, strides, main set and cool down. No mid-session easy, lap full 5 or 6 reps straight through. Meet at the usual time 7:00pm on the Sonia O’Sullivan track in the UCC grounds at the Mardyke.
Quick Note: The track will be closed next week (July 6th) for a hockey international we will have an interesting alternative session
