This week’s track session is back to 400s this is ideal before the big race weekend coming up. Participants have to make some judgement calls on their recovery powers prior to either Saturday’s HotW or Sunday’s Challenge Galway, I don’t think we have anyone from the IM Austria group. The session will be either 2 x (6 x 400m) or 2 x ( 5 x 400m) decision rests with individual athletes not so much of an issue for the Sunday racers but there is for HotW participants. We can chat before the session starts.
Session will take the usual format, easy warm up, dynamic stretch, strides, main set and cool down. Meet at the usual time of 7:00pm on the Sonia O’Sullivan track at the UCC grounds on the Mardyke

5 x strides building through last 3
2 x (5/6 x 400m) with 80s recovery jog, easy full 400m jog between the 2 sets
