Back up to repeat 1600s (miles) this week. Option of either 3 or 4 repeats depending on fitness level, 400m easy jog between. This is one of the key sessions for people targeting olympic or 70.3 distances. Usual remarks, keep the 400s even across each 1600m and keep all 4 1600s even across the set. Session starts at 7:00pm on the Sonia O’Sullivan track in the UCC grounds on the Mardyke. Same format easy warm-up, dynamic stretch, strides, main set and cool down.
