Track Session Wednesday 13th April

Athletics Track_UCCGreat numbers out last week for the first session on the track in spite of the weather.  The forecast for this week looks a lot better, certainly warmer and less windy.  Stepping up from last week’s 400s to 800m repeats.  Option of either four or five 800s depending on level of fitness.  Same format as usual, easy warm up, dynamic stretch, 5 x 60m strides and then the main set.  Session starts at 7:00pm, remember St Finbarr’s have the track for the hour before us so respect their space if you arrive early for a longer warm up.  The session is suitable for all levels we have some of our podium members plus absolute beginners all welcome
