Cork Tri Club Annual General Meeting Thursday 29th October at 8:00pm

imperial-venueThe club annual general meeting will be held on Thursday evening 29th October at 8:00pm in the Imperial Hotel on South Mall.  Finger food will be served from 7:30pm to encourage people to get there early and have a chat about some of the motions and items for discussion at the meeting.  If anyone has substantial motions for discussion which will change the way the club is operated please submit the motion by email to <admin@corktri.com> before Thursday 22nd October. A one paragraph description of the proposal would be useful to circulate to members in advance of the meeting, the proposal should also have a seconder.  There are close to 250 members registered with the club and the AGMs have been very well attended over the last few years.  Also the election of officers/committees has been very successful with almost all posts filled before the end of the meetings.  A list of the various jobs was included with Jeff Castle’s last email, please have a look at the list and see if there is something on there with which you would like to become involved and help out.  The club is a totally voluntary club and can only exist with the cooperation of as many members as possible helping to run our various events and sessions.  Through both the winter and summer seasons we have some activity going on, on almost every night of the week.  Please pass the word around and try to get to the meeting, it would also be a good occasion for potential new members to see what goes on at the club and also have a chat with existing members.
