Curious?

Sean-KellyJust a quick reminder that if you’re interested in bike racing, you might want to have a look at one of the upcoming races in the A4 calendar.  Before 31st of March it is possible to get an event (one day) license, without having to commit to a full racing license for the season.

The season has gotten off to a promising start for CTC racing team.  A number of club members raced for the first time at the Lacey Cup on Feb 22nd. Last weekend in Broadford we collected the first CTC points for the season when Adrian Quinn and Don Lapierre came in 6th and 8th respectively in the A4 race.  Adrian now moves up to A3, meaning that we have two club members at that standard.

There are Munster races on every weekend (and Paddy’s day) between now and the end of the month and it looks like we’ll have at least one club member racing at each of these races.  Sharing knowledge and experience is a big focus within the racing team in order that we can race safely to our best ability.  So don’t hesitate to get in touch with webmaster@corktri.com if you’re interested in any of the following races:

08/03/2015 Ras Luimni
15/03/2015 Blarney Road Race
17/03/2015 Carrick Wheeler’s Cup
22/03/2015 Minane Bridge
29/03/2015 Dungarvan
