Track Session Wednesday June 18th

greek_runSlightly more complex session this week with mixed distances.  Usual health warning about balancing race preparation and race recovery at this point in the season.  A lot of people will be doing either Hook or by Crook in Dunmore East or Tri Monkstown, it’s better going into a race fresh rather than over-tired, know your own capabilities/limits!  The session is 800m, 600m, 400m and 200m then repeat.  There is 200m jog recovery between each.

Warm up

10-12min jog

Dynamic stretch

6 x 60m strides

Main Set

2 x (800m, 600m 400m, 200m) 200m jog between each

Warm down

10min easy jog
